Recently one of our long standing members of staff, George Martin, had to retire due to illness. Everyone at MDM would like to take this opportunity to say a reluctant farewell to this solid trooper with many years of fond memories and service to the financial services industry.
In his own words.
"Having spent most of my career with a well known Insurer and a further 8 years as a Consultant with a London Broker, I took the opportunity 6 years ago to join MDM as the Corporate Pensions Manager.
I have met and spoken to many of our clients over the years and was intending to stay on next year after 65, when a sudden illness in March/April this year forced me to take early retirement.
I cannot thank the MDM staff enough for their good wishes and support over this period, particularly those who visited me, both in hospital and at home and those who sent me electronic messages.
Some of the clients also contacted me and to those I give thanks.
Many thanks also to my lovely wife Anne, who has been brilliant throughout this whole episode.
I am recovering slowly, but these matters take time and as I am an Investment and Pensions client of the Company, I will continue to maintain contact with them for some years to come."
